Virtual Polystrips
|
Change the length of a polystrip by clicking on the arrows <--> at either end. Once the polystrip is attached or locked the length of the strip can not be changed until all attachments and locks are removed. To attach two polystrips, align the two holes where that you'd like to connect. Click on the hole and then select ATTACH. Lock a spot on a polystrip by selecting the hole you wish to remain stationary and then click LOCK. When trying to move polystrips, the easiest way is if you click and drag on polystrips that have a locked point. Also, switching which polystrip you drag will help get to different locations. Trace a location on a polystrip by selecting the hole you wish to follow and click TRACE as your move the polystrips the trace point's location will be shown in RED. To unattach, unlock or untrace a hole, simply do the same steps again. Sometimes the polystrips can not move to the position you are trying to drag them. If SHOW BREAKS is selected anytime this occurs trace points will be plotted as blue instead of red.
