CMP Users’ Conference
CMP & The Common Core Standards
February 24–25, 2012

A keynote speech and grade-level sessions will provide insights into how to implement the Common Core State Standards in your CMP classroom. Participate in sessions lead by CMP authors, teachers, administrators, and teacher-leaders using student work, videos, and other classroom artifacts to discuss a variety of issues and strategies to increase the mathematical understanding and skill of all students.

Getting To Know CMP Workshop
June 20–24, 2011

Join a grade-level group for 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to participate in an in-depth look at both the mathematics and pedagogy for your grade; discuss implementation and management strategies with experienced teachers and CMP authors; discuss strategies for incorporating the Common Core State Standards into the CMP curriculum, and attend a special CMP-based Carnival, complete with prizes.

4th Annual
CMP Teacher Leaders & Coaches Workshop
June 20–24, 2011

Join other CMP coaches, teacher leaders, and administrators to discuss strategies for a successful implementation of CMP and the Common Core State Standards in your school. Characteristics of effective CMP classrooms will be examined through classroom videos, student work, and other artifacts. Coaching strategies for helping teachers develop students’ understanding of key mathematical ideas in CMP will be exemplified. The goal of these activities and discussions is to help attendees develop effective strategies to help their teaching staffs in planning, teaching, connecting and reflecting on CMP lessons.
