Published February 13, 2017
CMP Graduate Research Assistants, Amit Sharma, Taren Going, David Bowers, and Amy Ray attended this year’s CREATE for STEM Mini-Conference, held on Friday, February 10, 2017.
The purpose of the mini-conference is to fuel discussion about efforts to improve K-16 teaching and learning of STEM, and to allow researchers and collaborators to share challenges and generate new ideas.
The CMP Graduate Research Assistants created a poster to display on collaborative research and how it enhances middle grade students’ capacity to develop and communicate their mathematical understanding of big ideas using digital inscriptional resources.
Research authors include Elizabeth Phillips, AJ Edson, Joe Krajcik, Kristen Bieda, Yvonne Grant, Amit Sharma, Taren Going, David Bowers, Amy Ray, and Chad Dorsey.
