Elizabeth (Betty) Difanis Phillips Receives NCTM 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award

CMP's Elizabeth (Betty) Difanis Phillips, along with Joan Ferrini-Mundy, were selected by the Mathematics Education Trust (MET)  to receive the 2023 NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Betty's contributions to the field of mathematics education are indubitably transformative, far-reaching, and impactful in the lives of students and mathematics educators across the counrty throughout her tremendous career.

Betty will be recognized at the 2023 NCTM Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, DC, during the Opening Session. Following the Opening Session, MET will host a Celebration Reception to honor the award winners.
