The Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) team will be presenting two sessions at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The CMP team will also present at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) in Atlanta. This session will focus on the role of artificial intelligence in identifying and supporting students’ understanding of proportional reasoning.

A new book co-authored by longtime CMP contributor James Fey,who sadly passed away earlier this year, offers practical strategies and lesson examples for using cooperative small-group discovery to deepen student understanding, especially in algebra-focused classrooms.
