A Focus on Grade 8 with CMP
CMP Virtual Professional Learning
August 5, August 19, & October 27, 2021
Join us on August 5, August 19 & October 27, 2021, for 3 days of professional learning that will focus on teaching and learning using CMP.
Sessions will include discussions around:
- The CMP philosophy of teaching and learning with a problem-based curriculum
- An overview of mathematics in my grade
- The development of mathematics in Units 1 & 2
- The student's mathematical experience
- The extensive teacher support resources
Considerations will include how to maintain an equitable environment as we support students' mathematical learning with attention to students as problem solvers, creators of mathematics, communicators, and collaborators.
During registration, participants can submit questions to be addressed in the sessions.
Together we can combine our unique talents and strengths to provide engaging mathematical environments for our students.
