CMP Staff, Graduate Students, and Undergraduate Students presented at the 10th Annual CREATE for STEM Mini-Conference at The STEM Teaching and Learning Center on May 6, 2024. It was a great day to showcase our CMP4 and NSF projects. Learning and connecting with other Spartans and hearing an inspirational talk by Shirley Malcom were just a few of the highlights from the day. 

On November 14th, 2023, members of the Connected Mathematics research and author team, AJ Edson, Yvonne Slanger-Grant, and Kathy Dole presented at the 9th Annual MRALT Conference in Ann Arbor Michigan.

Michigan State University and Lab-Aids have announced an exclusive partnership to publish the fourth edition of the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) curriculum.

Our very own, Elizabeth (Betty) Difanis Phillips, has received the 2023 NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award. 

We are proud to welcome Chris Waston, a new addition to the Connected Mathematics Project staff.

The Advisory Board of the CMP Digital CLUE Platform convened to explore deeply the future of math education, examining the role of AI and machine learning in classrooms.

For the 2022-2023 school year, we have over 500 teachers participating in field-testing from 21 states and 5 countries. These sites provide a diversity of populations to help thoroughly test and provide feedback for the next version of CMP curriculum.

MSU will recognize CMP Author, Elizabeth "Betty" Phillips, at the Breslin Center commencement ceremony on December 17, 2022. She will be presented with an Honorary Doctor of Science degree.
